The DPG108 Series is a versatile family of industrial pressure/vacuum gauges. All DPG108 models feature a large 10 mm (7/16") high digital display. A ¼-18 NPT 316 stainless steel fitting is standard for the pressure connection. Media compatibility includes all liquids and gases compatible with 316 SS and NBR. The DPG108 Series features a wide operating temperature range of -20 to 70°C (-4 to 160°F). Many standard pressure/vacuum ranges, with 5 selectable pressure units are available (psi, bar, kPa, MPa, kg/cm2). The series features accuracy of 0.25% or 0,5% FS.
The DPG108 is powered by a standard 9V battery that can operate the gauge continuously for more than 2000 hours. All DPG108 models include an adjustable 0 to 15-minute auto shutoff feature to conserve battery life. A Silicone boot is standard offering IP68 protection. The DPG108 is widely used in hydro-power, water, petroleum, chemical, mechanical, hydraulic, and other industries.

Pressure Transducers and Transmitters
A pressure transducer, often called a pressure transmitter, is a sensor that converts pressure into an analog electrical signal. Although there are various types of transducers, one of the most common is the strain-gage wheatstone bridge pressure transducer.
The conversion of pressure into an electrical signal is achieved by the physical deformation of strain gages which are bonded into the diaphragm of the pressure transducer and wired into a wheatstone bridge configuration. Pressure applied to the transducer produces a deflection of the diaphragm which introduces strain to the gages. The strain will produce an electrical resistance change proportional to the pressure...

IP vs. NEMA / Weatherproof Enclosure Ratings
Understanding the necessary requirements for your product’s enclosure ratings is important, particularly when looking to gain the optimum life from your product while avoiding any safety concerns. Included below is a straight forward easy to understand overview of enclosure ratings, including IP ratings, NEMA types and the difference between the two.
We will be looking at these two common standards for industrial enclosures, what they equate to, some alternatives, and how to best choose the right one for your application.
