Isolated DIN Rail Mount Signal Transmitter (Multiple Models)
Process and Temperature Inputs, AC/DC Signals up to 600V, Load Cells etc. Universal Power Supply 18-265V AC/DC. Simple Configuration - No Additional Configuration Tools Required. Password Protection. 3 way Isolation. High Accuracy. More
Item# (PN): DR-I4_serie Shipping and Payment
OMEGA’s new DR-I4 series isolated signal converter delivers high performance for integration in a wide range of industrial applications. The DR-I4 accepts Process and Temperature inputs, AC/DC Electrical Signals or Bridge/Strain signals. Signal converter offers application flexibility for signal acquisition and industrial requirements.
A single universal AC/DC power supply allows this unit to be suited for global use.
Available Models - Input
DP-I4P - for Process and Temperature signals, Thermocouple, RTD, NTC (potentiometers and resistors)
DP-I4E - for AC DC electrical signals, up to 600V and up to 5A ac/dc, Frequency up to 100Hz
DP-I4L - for Bridge/Strain signals, up to 4 Load Cells
DP-I4F - for Impulses and Frequency signals up to 1 MHz
Output
Configurable output in 4 to 20mA or 0 to 10Vdc, high levels of isolation and DIN rail mount. 3 way isolation between input, output and power circuits. Circuit isolation prevents ground loops and transient propagation, protecting remote equipment and signal integrity.
Additional features of the DR-I4 isolated signal converter include ready to use ‘out of the box’ unit, with no additional configuration tools needed, easy configuration by programming codes, and special ‘force’ functions for installation testing.

What is a Signal Conditioner?
A signal conditioner is a device that converts one type of electronic signal into a another type of signal. Its primary use is to convert a signal that may be difficult to read by conventional instrumentation into a more easily read format. In performing this conversion a number of functions may take place.
Signal conditioning is a vital process performed within the Data Acquisition System. It involves the manipulation of the analog signal output from the sensors to prepare it for the next stage of processing. Signal conditioning amplifies and converts the signals from the sensors or...
