OMEGA's miniature connectors for thermocouples, Pt100 and thermistors are ideal for even the most demanding temperature measurement applications. These connectors offer a host of features including, heavy duty contruction, IEC or ANSI colour coding, removable reversible write-on window and chisel point male contacts for ease of connection.
The connectors are also designed for use with Pt100 and thermistors, select uncompensated type U.
SMPW connectors are made from glass-filled Nylon and have a maximum temperature rating of 180°C
HMPW connedctors are made from Liquid Crystal Polymer and have a maximum temperature rating of 260°C

Maximum Torque Value is 2 pounds-force inch or .230 kilogram-force meter.
Temperature can be measured via a diverse array of sensors. All of them infer temperature by sensing some change in a physical characteristic. Six types with which the engineer is likely to come into contact are: thermocouples, resistive temperature devices (RTDs and thermistors), infrared radiators, bimetallic devices, liquid expansion devices, and change-of-state devices.
