OMEGA OSTW and HSTW are standard size round pin 2 pole connectors for thermocouples, Pt100 and thermistors. They connect or extend thermocouple wire and cable to thermocouple sensors, temperature instrumentation and process controllers.This popular series of thermocouple connector is available in all thermocouple types and are colour colour coded to either IEC or ANSI standards. The contact washers allow the installer to use a straight wire strip. This greatly cuts installation/termination time and eliminates the torque that is normally associated with wire that is looped around a termination screw. OSTW-( )-F socket is universal, it will accept standard size round pin or mini size flat pin male thermocouple connector plugs.
OSTW and HSTW connectors are also designed for use with Pt100 and thermistors, select uncompensated type U.
OSTW connectors are made from glass-filled Nylon and have a maximum temperature rating of 180°C
HSTW connedctors are made from Liquid Crystal Polymer and have a maximum temperature rating of 260°C

How is Temperature Measured?
