Omega's line of M8 and M12 over molded extension cables are great for connecting M8 and M12 enabled thermocouple sensors to your process or measurement instrument.
These cables include M8 and M12 connectors containing uncompensated connector sockets and thermocouple extension grade cables in Type K and J calibrations. Colors include both ANSI and IEC color codes (see table below). These cables are sold with stripped leads standard for easy connection directly to your measurement or control instrument. If you need a connector for attaching the cable to your instrumentation, Omega offers thermocouple connectors which connect to a wide variety of hand held and other instruments.
The online configurator may not contain all available options. If you do not find what you are looking for, please contact us.
Comes with bare stripped ends as standard. You can order the cable, including the installation of connector B. Put the required connector in the basket together with the cable. If needed, order the required connectors separately, see "Related Products" below.

Thermocouple Wire / How it Works?
The thermocouple wire or cable is used to manufacture thermocouple probes in order to sense temperature using the point of cold junction compensation (cjc end). On the other side, as it has been explain in this other article, a thermocouple is a sensor for measuring temperature, that consists of two dissimilar metals that are joined together at the sensing end.
Different thermocouple types (e.g. J or K type thermocouple wire) use different mixtures of metals in the cable. At the cjc end, the millivolt value provided by the thermocouple represents the difference in temperature of the sensing end as compared to the cjc end (also called the reference end)...
